The construction technology of cartridge heaters HD series allows to achieve very high power in small spaces.
The nickel-chrome wire is wrapped up in a ceramic core and it is situated in a peripheral position close to the external sheath and they are divided by a highly compressed magnesium oxide thin layer creating a high degree of thermal conduction.

Thanks to this technique the difference in temperature between the wire and the external sheath is lower than other type of heaters giving the chance to use it with high power density.

The power cables insulated in fibreglass are flexibles and the junction point is inside the cartridge.
